Michaël Beauvent éprouve la matière du sens commun. Son objet est notre horizon mutant qu’il interroge en une quête libertaire. Il s’agit d’une quête où l’art sert le chemin de l’initiation. Ce qu’il amène à l’expression n’est ni tangible, ni audible… Ce n’est pas non plus «seulement la pensée», c’est un entre-deux où langage et matière se confondent, s’échangent, communient sans prééminence.

We are talking about a post-laic quest, where art serves the initiation. What he brings to expression isn’t tangible, nor audible. Neither is it “just thought”, it is an interspace where language and matter blend, interchange, unite without pre-eminence.
